2013 Lake Days ‘Goes Country’

Cowboy HatWith the 2013 Lake Days ‘Going Country’, we will be selling cowboy hats at Saywell park during the Lake Days festivities.
However, since everyone will be wanting to get their hats and raffle tickets early, we will be offering them for sale on May 18th from 10 am to 3 pm in from of Country Grocer as well as at Heritage Days in Saywell Park.
Remember, they will sell out fast, so get yours early!!!

Tuesday June 4th – Wine and Cheese Tasting

Wine and Cheese Tasting

The Lake Cowichan District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a wine and cheese  tasting event to be held at the Shaker Mill Restaurant.
Tickets are $15 each.
Sorry no minors – you must be 19 yrs or older.
Tickets can be purchased at The Print Shop in Lake Cowichan.

Road Hockey:

Road HockeyRoad Hockey, once again, will be one of our big attractions on the main street.
The road hockey tournament is a piece of the puzzle called Lake Days. As one parent said it has taken on a life of its own, it’s part of Lake Days now!
A day of road hockey with your friends, T-shirt, hot dog, pop, and a chance of winning a prize! GREAT DAY!

Soap Box Derby:

Soap Box DerbyThe Great Race happens once again with the 3rd annual Soap Box Derby. Carts of all shapes and colours will race down the hills of Stone Ave. Drivers will be racing for the coveted derby trophies.
Come in and Rope Your Cart: For those still needing a Cart Kit May 11th from 10 AM to 2 PM is the day and time to come down to the Lake Cowichan Christian Fellowship Church and pick out your kit. You can also register to enter at the same time.
